Lwówek Śląski is a quiet medieval town at the foot of the Kaczawskie and Izera mountains — minutes from the market square, hours from three capitals.

Forests, hiking trails, and cycling routes begin right outside the door. Within easy reach: Czocha Castle (~25 km), Karkonosze National Park, the Bear Cave, and the Leśniańskie Lake — plus viewpoints, Romanesque churches, and regional restaurants. Wrocław airport (WRO) is about 1.5 hours by car; the Czech border is 40 km away, the German border another 40. Prague — 2 hours. Berlin — 3 hours.
